Restrictions on import and export goods
Goods purchased within the territory of China must comply with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the import of goods permitted by the State. Relevant laws and regulations are as follows:
The current revised version of the List of Prohibited Import and Export Goods of the People's Republic of China and the List of Restricted Import and Export Goods of the People's Republic of China shall come into force on March 1, 1993. In November 1987, the Announcement of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China on the Promulgation of the List of Prohibited and Restricted Import and Export Goods was repealed at the same time.
List of prohibited import and export articles of the People's Republic of China
1. Import of goods is prohibited
All kinds of weapons, simulated weapons, ammunition, explosives;
Counterfeiting currency and securities;
Printed matter, film, photograph, music, video, audio, video and laser video discs, computer storage media and other articles harmful to China's politics, economy, culture and morality;
Various potent poisons;
Opium, morphine, heroin, cannabis and other addictive drugs and psychotropic drugs;
Animals, plants and their products containing dangerous bacteria, pests and other harmful organisms;
Obstacles to human and animal health and diseases from infected areas can spread to other foods, medicines or other items.
2. The export of goods is prohibited
Articles that fall within the scope of entry prohibition;
The contents involve state secret manuscripts, printed materials, films, photographs, music, video recordings, audio tapes, laser video discs, computer storage media, etc.;
Precious cultural relics and other prohibited styles;
Endangered and rare animals, plants (including specimens) and their seeds and breeding materials.

National currency;
Other articles subject to customs restrictions.
2. Restrict the export of goods
Gold, silver, valuable metals and their ornaments
National currency;
Foreign currency and securities;
Radio transceivers and communication security devices;
Precious Chinese medicinal materials;
General cultural relics;
Other articles whose export is restricted by the Customs.
