The first weight refers to the lowest chargeable weight. If the package weight falls within the first weight range, the cost will be calculated based on the price of the first weight. Continued weight refers to the part that exceeds the initial weight.
Each route has a weight limit. If the goods exceed the weight limit, you will be prompted that you cannot submit the package and need to remove some of the goods and submit them for shipment in batches.
When transporting multiple items to your warehouse at one time, there will be professional packaging support, and international shipping costs can be saved compared with shipping them separately. Example of choosing DHL to send to Germany: 1. Suppose the current first - weight is 1000g/126 yuan, and each additional - weight is 1100g/12 yuan, with a handling charge of 52 yuan per piece. Suppose you have 3 items with weights of 11000g, 2100g, and 3100g respectively: 2. If you choose (submit parcels separately), you need to pay 1071 yuan for freight. (126 + 12.6 + 52)+(126 + 138.6 + 52)+(126 + 264.6 + 52)=949.8 yuan 3. If you choose combined shipping, you only need to pay 845.8 yuan. The total weight of the parcel is: 1100g + 2100g + 3100g = 6300g Freight: 126 + 667.8 + 52 = 845 yuan You can directly save 104 yuan in freight.
Volume weight is mainly reflected in the logistics and freight process. When an item has a volume that is too large but a weight that is too light, its volume will be converted into weight during transportation to charge fees. The formula for calculating the volume and weight of air freight cargo is: the volume of the cargo (length (cm) x width (cm) x height (cm))/6000=volume weight (kg), which means that a cargo volume of 6000 cubic centimeters is equivalent to 1 kilogram to calculate the freight cost. Converted, a cargo volume of 1 cubic meter should be calculated as 167 kg for the freight cost.
